On Thursday 14 October, Cécile Gomez held a seminar on "Characterization of soil properties using French national Vis-NIR and MIR spectral libraries" in the framework of the FAO GLOSOLAN network.
The LISAH lab (Soil-Agrosystem-Hydrosystem interaction lab), is a joined research unit between INRAE, l'IRD , Institut Agro-SupAgro, but also linked to AgroParisTech.
LISAH studies the complex functioning of cultivated landscapes focusing on the interactions between plant production and natural resources (soil, water), on surfaces hosting multiple actors and multiple objects (agricultural plots and infrastructures), and along the critical zone (from the surface water table/soil to the lower atmosphere).

The annual seminar of the LMI Naila was held on 20 and 21 October over three half-days. This seminar, which was conducted by videoconference, brought together some 40 researchers, engineers and technicians from both sides of the Mediterranean.

On 5 October, Mariem Dhouib and Jean Albergel presented the OMERE observatory, Mediterranean Observatory for the Environment and Water Resources, in the "Success stories " Research, Training, Innovation, Networks, Culture" session of the "Water" day of the Global Days in Montpellier, which preceded the New Africa-France Summit.
